Our Development Education representatives Ethan Cunningham and Killian McNamara took a visit to Willow Park this week. It was a very educational day and the boys learned a lot about the work sight savers carry out, Sustainable Development Goals and informed us about some interesting Case Studies in Cameroon. A very interactive lesson, these boys could take over as the teacher!Well Done Ethan and Killian! You did us all very proud 🙂
This week as part of our SESE studies we completed projects on the countries around the world. Every boy got to choose their own country and create their own unique project. A Thursday afternoon was set aside for presentations of the projects whereby everyone got the chance to present their work and answer questions from the rest of the class.Well done to everyone. Your hard work and dedication is much appreciated. Keep it up 🙂
Here is some of our amazing work 🙂 Clink on the link below to see some more great pictures of the boys individually with their projects.
As part of our History lessons this week we are learning all about The Celts. As well as reading about the Celts and working very hard we decided to carry out some Celtic Designs. Here are some photos of our bright, colourful and brilliant work. Well done boys! 🙂
This week we are learning about Procedural Writing. As well as looking at some delicious recipes, sets of instructions and rules of how to play games, we decided to create a piece of procedural writing based on our own potions! As Halloween is approaching our procedure was “How to make the Wicked Witches Wicked potion”. The children wrote some excellent procedures, however, these potions you certainly would not want to try!!
Here is some of our amazing work 🙂
This week we took a trip to the Jeanie Johnston Famine ship and EPIC Museum on the Custom Dock Quay.
