This week we are learning about Procedural Writing. As well as looking at some delicious recipes, sets of instructions and rules of how to play games, we decided to create a piece of procedural writing based on our own potions! As Halloween is approaching our procedure was “How to make the Wicked Witches Wicked potion”. The children wrote some excellent procedures, however, these potions you certainly would not want to try!!

Adam Finlay, James Jury, Cillian Groarke Balmer and Hugo Considine. These 4 boys decided to have a sale of work. They raised €45 and donated it to St Michael’s House. Sharon the head of unit said “it is the best €45 we ever received. Thank you so much. “.
