In Form 4(1) this week we are learning about Sunlight. We are following the times the sun rises in the morning and when it sets in the evening.
We drew compasses on the school yard and drew around our shadow. We noticed how the shadow changes at different times of the day.
Welcome to Form 4(1)

Activities: Debating January 2017
Each group had a different topic. The boys worked really hard on their debates for a week. They put in so much effort researching their topics and working collaboratively to make their points.
The team captains learned how to address the audience correctly and all the children learned lots of of new vocabulary to enhance their debate.
The boys really enjoyed doing their debates and so did I….
Take a look at our videos below.
Global Warming and Climate Change
Last term, class 4.1 completed wonderful research and projects on Global warming. The boys learnt about the causes and effects of climate change today and how we can reduce these effects on the planet for our future generations. Our projects are currently on display in the main school hall. Well done to all of the boys from class 4.1 for their hard work.
See our project presentations here.
International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day 2018
4.1 had a fantastic time learning about International Women’s Day and about the social , economic, cultural and political achievements of women all over the world. The boys loved making their mother’s day cards and we hope every Mummy had a lovely day!

Science Week 2017
The boys had a great afternoon with LEGOLearn.it building power cars and we also thoroughly enjoyed taking part in our very own construction project; building spider web bridges using different materials!
Thank you again Mr. Agnew for organising such a brilliant week for us and to the parents who were involved and treated the boys to the most wonderful talks and presentations on all things science.
